We are seeking a talented and experienced UI Designer to join our dynamic software development team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating intuitive, engaging, and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces that drive user adoption and satisfaction. You will play a crucial role in shaping the visual language and user experience of our innovative software products.

**Responsibilities:**

* Design and prototype user interfaces for web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and intuitive user experience.
* Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to translate user needs and business requirements into compelling visual designs.
* Develop and maintain a consistent design system, style guides, and component libraries to ensure brand consistency and efficient workflow.
* Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
* Present design concepts and rationale clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
* Stay abreast of the latest UI design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
* Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision from a design perspective.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

* Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in UI design within the software industry.
* **Proficiency in Figma is essential**, with a strong understanding of its collaborative features, prototyping capabilities, and design system management tools.
* Demonstrated experience in creating wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes.
* Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
* Ability to articulate design decisions and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
* A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI design projects, highlighting problem-solving skills and creative solutions.
* Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
* Understanding of front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their implications for UI design is beneficial.
